We hate being the bearers of bad news, but, here it comes. Due to extenuating circumstances including the commencement of a major streetscape project, the 2011 Short Vine Block Parties will be postponed until next year. Trust us; we are just as bummed as you are. However, that does not mean you cannot still celebrate the return of UC Football in true Bearcat style. Be sure to visit Short Vine for a pre-game meal or beverage at one of the local establishments before heading to UC's Sigma Sigma Commons for Bearcat Blitz, where the tailgating activities will be in high gear. And remember to keep the Short Vine Block Party on your radar as next year's event is sure to be an epic time.
